Job Summary
Responsibilities
Maintain a fun positive and efficient work environment while delivering excellent service.
Sort inspect and prepare linens and uniforms to ensure they meet quality standards.
Remove and properly dispose of any foreign materials found in laundry items.
Hang garments organize racks and manage laundry carts throughout the shift.
Keep work areas and equipment clean safe and wellmaintained.
Follow all safety security and company procedures at all times.
Complete required paperwork accurately and on schedule.
Support team members and model professional behavior in every interaction.
Qualifications
Prior experience preferred but not required.
Must be a team player.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Able to work a flexible shift to include nights holidays and weekends.
JOB DEMANDS:
- Lifts up to a maximum of 50 pounds and frequently lifts and/or carries up to 25 pounds.
- Position requires 35% standing 5% sitting 60% walking.
- Requires frequent kneeling stooping reaching over head and very frequent bending pushing twisting and climbing.
- Must be able to read understand and tolerate the usage of cleaning chemicals.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced stressful environment.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and machines.
- Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust.
- Requires the ability to respond to speech touch smell aural and visual cues.
