Job Duties: Develop financial models on different asset classes to aid pricing liquidity and trading related research using machine learning deep learning statistics big data infrastructures and programming. Design fine-tune and evaluate advanced AI and applied AI modelsincluding large language models (LLMs) neural ordinary differential equations (Neural ODEs) diffusion models and other deep learning architectures to support tasks like natural language querying of proprietary financial data extraction of key insights from unstructured data synthetic data generation and time-series analysis/forecasting. Interact with stakeholder teams to identify questions and issues to generate actionable insights and solutions for client needs and/or product enhancements and research opportunities for new uses of existing data. Implement rigorous data quality checks model validation back-testing and surveillance. Monitor model drift and retrain as needed to ensure stability and reliability in production. Work with different financial datasets and develop and run algorithms on large size datasets efficiently. Continually stay current with the latest advances in AI and ML

Qualifications: Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Physics Financial Engineering or related field and 12 months of experience in job offered or related occupation. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Physics Financial Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in job offered or related field. Position requires one year of experience in the following: Programming in Python and C; Interactive prototyping frameworks including Jupyter; Data science packages including Sklearn Numpy and Matplotlib and PySpark; Deep learning frameworks including PyTorch and TensorFlow; Conducting independent research encompassing hypothesis formulation data visualization cleansing modeling validation and dissemination of findings; Applying statistical and machine learning approaches and building models to solve problems including regression classification and clustering; Training and deploying deep learning models including neural ordinary differential equations (Neural ODEs) for modeling complex temporal dynamics and diffusion models for generating synthetic data and denoising time series; Big Data & Cloud Platforms including Apache Spark and Hadoop and cloud services including Google Cloud Platform and Azure equivalents for distributed data processing; Generative AI and Large Language Models including transformer architecture prompt engineering techniques and utilization of AI agents for financial data applications.
