An excellent opportunity has arisen within the company for a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Craftsperson.
Reporting to the Mobile Equipment Supervisor the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Craftsperson is responsible for maintaining servicing and repairing all Mobile equipment plant in a safe and efficient way.
This position will be open to both external and internal applicants.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
In line with applicable procedures conduct all duties in a way that promotes Bolidens values and best practice relating to environmental health safety and quality performance.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on Mobile equipment plant.
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
Complete inspections and safety checks in line with mining regulations.
Role model Bolidens core values at all times and can demonstrate use of core values to drive continuous improvement.
Proactive machine/equipment fault-finding repair and problem solving.
Implement all safe working procedures standards practices rules regulations and instructions in line with Boliden policies.
Work towards achieving all relevant KPIs set out for Maintenance Department e.g. breakdown response time minimising downtime etc
Carry out on-the-job risk assessments.
Carry out 5S housekeeping and cleaning work as required.
Use of new technology including CMMS system (Maximo).
Maintain a detailed log of all repairs servicing maintenance and relevant information relating to performance of machinery and equipment.
Other duties may be determined by immediate supervisor.
Experience and Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years in the mining / heavy industry with considerable exposure to an Engineering function.
One of the following is essential:
A SOLAS approved Craft qualification.
Recognised qualification as a trained Fitter/Mechanic.
Experience with maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance a distinct advantage.

Effective team player along with the ability to work under ones own initiative.

Additional Info:
This role will be full time 3 Cycle 10 hr Shift.
There will be a degree of flexibility required as part of this role in line with operational requirements.
There will be some international travel required as part of this role.
