A Day in the Life
The Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit is dedicated to the treatment of electrophysiological diseases of the heart. We offer our physician customers a comprehensive suite of products and are dedicated to leading the market with our Affera Mapping and Ablation System innovating cutting-edge ablation catheters cardiac mapping systems and traditional electrophysiology (EP) products.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Plan coordinate and deliver regional educational programs both in ACEE And TURMECA regions with focus in AFFERA and PulseSelect products consistent with Corporate and CAS Operational Units (OU) needs strategy and operational priorities.
- Participate in elaboration and lead execution of the hands-on AFFERA simulator trainings at the regional level organized for all EurAsia super-regions for HCPs and internal staff and take supervision over maintenance of the AFFERA training centers in the region.
- Lead the establishment of the training processes and the development of new training materials for customers EP specialists end-users of Medtronic CAS products for hospitals EP-nurses and Technicians and for internal trainings.
- Perform primary review of new training materials created by the T&E team and prepare materials for med review and approval for whole region; participate in med review approval process as reviewer of promotional materials.
- Support CAS OU across ACEE and TURMECA regions in training needs assessment based on actual knowledge and feedback from field forces and customers suggest ways that training can help meet established sales and marketing objectives and provide guidance on the delivery of local educational programs.
- Partner with and provide subject matter expertise on Medtronic CAS products therapies and procedures to junior colleagues in T&E team and for other teams (commercial TC marketing).
- Ensure trainings are performance/competency based
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Masters degree in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines
- 5 years of clinical EP experience
- Minimum of 3 years of successful independent support of EP mapping procedures.
- Medical or technical background connected to the respective OUs
- Fluent English language knowledge written/spoken
