Within the global Launch Operations team you stand at the core of our mission: transforming complex campaigns into repeatablescalableandreliableoperationsover multiple launch sites. Your work createsthestructure that enables teams across the world to execute with confidence and precision.
When a campaign moves from planning to execution you step directly into the fieldjoining local teams on site leading coordination effortsin the company and operations both inside and outside the control these moments you carry the responsibility of turning months of preparation into a successful launch day.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
- Coordinate and prepare launch and stageacceptancecampaignsendtoend ensuring full launch system readiness. Over time you can grow into a test or launch director role for dedicated missions.
- Develop adeep understanding of our launch systemto make sound operational decisions even under pressure. You use this knowledge to guide local teams andmaintainglobal alignment.
- Ownmissionlevel configuration management keeping design manufacturing assembly and testing tightly aligned with mission goals. Your decisions set the operational envelope long before the rocket reaches the pad.
- As our launch cadence grows andadditionalsites come online youwillcontribute toour teamshapingthe future of multisite launch operationsanddefinehow our global team executes missions.
- Feeding flight experience directly backinto engineering teams ensuring that operational insights continuously improve our system design.
Qualification Checklist
- At least five years of experience in the space sector or a comparable highstakes environment with a strong background in mission or operational roles ideally including launchrelated responsibilities
- Degree in aerospace mechanical electricalengineeringor a comparable engineering discipline
- System-level technical understanding of launch vehicles and their subsystems
- Demonstrated autonomy and a solution-oriented mindset
- Experience in multidisciplinary troubleshooting and crossfunctional coordination
- Ability tomaintainclarity and performance in highstress longduration operational settings
- Strong organizational discipline situational awareness and ability to lead within diverse teams
- Comfortable working selfsufficiently and adapting quickly to highly dynamic environments
- Willingness to travel to global launch sites formultiweekcampaign deployments
- Fluent in English
