Job Summary
Responsibilities:Extended Care Coordinator:Responsible for the operation and management of the Extended Care Program including ensuring and scheduling adequate staffingStaff hiring training and developmentDirect and supervise all staff and students in the programResponsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of program spaceMaintain program communication with parentsInventory purchasing and maintenanceMaintain proper licensing and safety guidelinesMaintain accurate sign-in/sign-out documentation for studentsCommit to use training skills strengths experience and passion in pursuit of the mission of Heritage Christian SchoolParaprofessional:Assist with recess dutyFloat in classrooms and assist teachers with projects as neededServe as a substitute to cover teacher appointments/meetingsWork one-on-one with students as requested by the teacherAssist students with minor physical disabilitiesSpecific Role Requirements*:Must submit to a Criminal Background Check including fingerprintingFirst Aid/CPR CertificationUniversal Precautions TrainingMandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training10 Modules of Essentials Training*All may be completed upon hirePosition Hours:Monday Fridayo30-40 hrs/weekoHours negotiable but 3:30-5:30pm required on-site.
