The GLP-1 Team will contribute to Sandoz purpose to broaden access to affordable biologics for patients.

As part of the newly established GLP-1 team and as Portfolio Partnerships & Project Lead you will be part of a small team who will be building the roadmap for Sandoz towards leadership in GLP-1s. Diabetes and obesity carry significant morbidity rates with a huge economic part of the solution for these conditions GLP1s have the potential to treat one billion patients and are on a trajectory for substantial growth in the coming years with the market expected to reach $150B by 2035.

Major accountabilities:

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Overall goal of the role is to act as lynchpin of partnerships and key projects for GLP-1s partnering with internal stakeholders and external partners to secure near and mid-term platform goals.

  • Lead the relationship with external partners on behalf of the GLP-1 platform.

  • Organize and moderate topics with both internal stakeholders and with external partners with follow up on key decisions and outcomes.

  • Partner with key internal stakeholders and external partners to monitor and ensure asset project plans ensuring transparency and project alignment with business cases.

  • Lead the content preparation process for external partner Joint Steering Co meetings and attend / facilitate meetings as appropriate.

  • Work with GLP-1 asset teams to ensure end to end governance of assets and as relevant how they align with partner term sheets.

  • Support the development of partnership strategies to secure optimal access to patients for Sandoz products.

  • Support and project manage ad hoc pipeline and portfolio projects.

Minimum Requirements:

What youll bring to the role:

  • Scientific degree with MS or MBA as a strong plus.

  • English (spoken and written fluency); knowledge of other languages a plus.

  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience with strong experience in early commercial.

  • Ability to coordinate and influence across complex matrix.

  • Ability to interact with BD and alliance partners; influence (but not negotiate) contractual profile to maximize Sandoz position.

  • Strong communication analytical skills and the ability to bridge marketing and science.
