OSHC SUPERVISOR (DIPLOMA QUALIFIED PERMANENT POSITION)

38 HOURS PER WEEK

1 POSITION AVAILABLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Diploma qualified educator to join our program as the OSHC Supervisor in our recently assessed fully funded program. The successful candidate will be working alongside educational leader/s and second in charge providing care and education for participants from Croydon Special Developmental School. This role requires you to work face-to-face with students delivering care support and guidance in addition to carrying out administrative duties that are essential to the position. You will be required to contribute to the program provide care for participants and liaise with families.

You will receive mentoring and on the job training as well as a range of training opportunities through an induction program. You will be supported by the Mentor and Development Support and the Project Co-ordinator.

You will have dedicated off the floor time to assist with forming strong relationships with the school community including families while allowing time to co-ordinate a high-quality program for the students.

Skill Set:

Minimum Diploma in Childrens Services or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience in the disability and/or childcare/OSHC sector.

Strong communication skills including developing and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of individuals and groups both within and outside of the organisation.

Prompt and effective communication with families.

Strong time management skills.

Ability to lead and mentor a team.

High level of drive for success.

Can think on their feet and adapt easily in situations.

Ability to deal with high stress situations.

Solution focused.

Strong understanding of workplace legislative requirements including Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

Preferred knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework My Time Our Place.

High level of ICT skills including competency in XPLOR or similar product

Excellent written and organisational skills.
