Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Platform Engineer to support our on-premise datacenter in Cincinnati OH. The ideal candidate will blend skills from Platform Engineering Systems Administration Virtualization and Networking to solve complex problems with on-premise infrastructure. The position is remote and requires being on-premise as needed at the datacenter.
What you will do:
In this role you will join a highly diverse team of Platform Network Cloud and Software Engineers to help support mission critical systems. You will work closely with our Staff Platform Engineer to support our on-premise infrastructure and applications.
What you will bring:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience managing/maintaining on-premise infrastructure
- Extensive knowledge of VMware or other virtualization products
- Strong Networking skills
- Backup orchestration and architecture
- Strong Systems Administration Skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Telecommunications
