GCSAA is seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated student for an internship that explores environmental data laws and public policy with a focus on local and national environmental and public health issues relevant to the golf course management industry. The Environmental Programs team seeks help in finalizing several projects including evaluating our Golf Course Environmental Profile survey report methods and processes and making recommendations on improving the process and outcomes to provide better value to our members. Additional needs include providing technical support for communicating best management practice success stories planning and tracking of best management practice manual adoption processes developing automation methods for the collection of data and information related to research proposals and environmental award nominations evaluating website analytics and recommending improvement in postings and storytelling and creating systems to forecast performance milestones progress and success. Qualified candidate will possess: - Strong organization writing and editing skills and attention to details
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and juggle varied tasks while meeting deadlines
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint) essential
- Familiarity using social media
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week--schedule is flexible
- Students with majors in math engineering data science physical science life science or related field would benefit most from this experience
- Seeking a Spring 2026 semester intern with possibility for extension.
- Paid internship is $12.00/hour
