Job Summary:

TheDetailing
position at Jim Myers & Sons Inc. (JMS) is a vital member of the Operations/Detailing Teamand is adiverse
high pacedposition. A Detaileris responsible forthedevelopment of drawings plans and other documents. This includesdrawing layoutsengineering drawings and detailed fabrication prints. The Detailershould be comfortable in amanufacturingenvironment andhaveexperience with sheet metal components and multibody weldments.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Create detailedfabrication leveldrawing packagesfor projects that are visually appealing and functionally attractive

• Work with
  Designer(s)
  toprepare
  detailed submittal packageson the same caliber as fabrication packages

• Work with themanufacturing departmentto support assembly of components per drawings

• Strong ability tounderstandmechanical equipment withhigh attention to detail

• Adhere toproject schedule
  and specificationsto meet theprojects timeobjectivesand milestones

• Maintain propercommunicationwith
  departments such assalesproject management andengineering

• Ability toworkeffectively & efficientlywith projectteam memberson multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills as well as logical thought process

• Travel to plantsitesis minimal but could be
  requiredforfield measurementsinstallation
  supportand troubleshooting(Travel <5%)

• Follow all JMS procedures

Qualifications

• Mustpossessa minimum
  2year(s) (3500 hours)of experience in 3D modeling withSolidWorks (preferred)

• Intermediatelevel 3D detailer
  and/orCertified
  SolidWorksProfessionalpreferred

• Knowledgeandexperience
  applyingdrafting standardsto fabrication level drawings

• 2yearsofexperience withcreating drawings ofweldments and assemblies

• 1yearsofexperience with 2Ddetailing inAutoCADa plus

• Strong backgroundofmechanical equipmentwith
  high attention to detail

• Strong communicationskills including the ability tonegotiate positive outcomes

• Experience with power transmission equipment including motors gearboxes chain drives shafts & bearings

• Requiresa high levelofproficiencyinMicrosoft Office: Word Excel PowerPoint & Outlook

• Desire to learn and to continue developing knowledge and skills

Desired Experience and Skills

• Knowledge of fabrication processes such as bending punching weldingmachiningetc.

• Experience with themunicipal water and wastewater industrya plus

• Experience with material handling systems (conveyors and bulk storage) a plus

• Experience with electrical powerinstrumentationand controls a plus

• ExperienceapplyingGD&Tis strongly desiredor certification in GD&T is aplus

Education

• CertifiedAssociates Degree in Mechanical
• Drafting/Engineeringor other relevant field of engineering with equivalent combination of experience
