Engineering Intern OEM

Responsibilities:

• Main focus will include reviewing editing and working with Application Engineers to update current build instructions

• Demonstrate the application of basic Engineering tools/ principles and evidence of creative thinking

• Investigates product problems understands basic diesel engine operation recommends appropriate action owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.

• Obtains input from internal stakeholders such as warehouse employees technicians technical communicators project leaders and supplier partners to deliver information and recommendations that lead to improved process decisions.

• Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes.

• Perform typically as an individual contributor within or in support of a team. - Plans organizes and leads small project teams

• Contributes effectively toward team goals exhibits influence within a work group and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.

• Working hands-on on the shop floor to group engines support the organization of complex shop builds and perform other manufacturing engineering-related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Engineering college student in between semesters

o Mechanical Manufacturing Electrical or Automotive engineering preferred

• Computer Skills; Proficient in standard Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF

• SolidWorks or other 3D modeling experience

Minimum Physical Requirements:

• Standing walking using hands talking hearing

The pay range for this position is

Starting wage is dependent on skills experience education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicants location. Along with competitive pay full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
