Description:

Position Summary: A Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for assessing planning implementing & evaluating the care of patients. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care patient advocacy team dynamics & hospital systems. Serves as a resource support staff. Requires a high degree of initiative & independent judgment.
Position Requirements:
A: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
B. Education: Graduation from an NLM accredited school of nursing.
C: Experience: One year of recent Registered Nursing experience preferred (within the past five years)
Qualifications: Current BCLS ACLS TNCC & ENPC mandatory (required with in 1st year of employment if not certified.)
Degree of Supervision Required: Is able to function independently w/ minimal supervision. Is directly responsible to the CTL &/or Charge Nurse in directing & providing patient care.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to tolerate prolonged extensive or considerable amount of standing/walking turning lifting pushing/pulling & transferring patients. Heavy lifting 50 pounds frequently throughout the day. Must be able to perform duties required w/in a reasonable length of time.

Personal Protective Equipment: This position requires the use of personal protective equipment during various tasks/activities. Personal protective equipment includes but is not limited to: gloves masks safety glasses gowns & any other OSHA required equipment.
