Job Summary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Treasury Management Advisor Iis responsible for generating sales of cash management products to new and existing commercial customers with a focus on generating fee income. They will provide on-going support to customers that utilize cash management products while assuring customer satisfaction. The TM Advisor I is responsible for assisting others with customer calling efforts by preparing comparative analysis and making product recommendation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Consult with prospective clients to determine cash management and other banking product needs. This duty is performed daily.

2. Prepare necessary documentation (applications contracts) for implementation of services sold. This duty is performed weekly.

3. Make on-site visit for installation of services sold where applicable. This duty is performed as needed.

4. Contact commercial clients to ensure customer satisfactions with services. This duty is performed as needed.

5. Serve as liaison between commercial customers and operations. This duty is performed as needed.

6. Support calling efforts of bank staff to attract a retain new business. This duty is performed daily.

7. Conduct training sessions for lenders business development and retail staff of benefit of products. This duty is performed as needed.

8. Educate customers on the importance of cyber security and measures to take to circumvent the risk. This duty is performed as needed.

9. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

10. Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed as needed.

11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired) such as basic accounting computer etc. Equivalent of four years in high school plus night trade extension or correspondence school specialized training equal to two years of college plus 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to write reports business correspondence and policy/proceduremanuals;Abilityto effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions ratios and proportions to practical situations.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral or diagram formats.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Required education and experience:
3 years of banking experience

Required proficiencies:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (specifically Excel) and Adobe DC.
Applicable knowledge of cyber security.
Must be able to identify and measure potential risk with respect to treasury products and services.

Preferred proficiencies:
Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
