This role includes a TLR for the right candidate and is ideal for a Science Teacher looking to take on additional responsibility within a supportive academically focused environment.

The role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5 Biology Chemistry or Physics depending on specialism and experience. Alongside high-quality classroom teaching the successful candidate will take on a TLR-linked responsibility which may include curriculum leadership mentoring or oversight of a key area within the Science department.
Experience and Qualifications
QTS and a degree in a Science-related subject
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and high expectations for student outcomes
Experience or readiness to take on a responsibility or leadership role
Ability to contribute positively to departmental development
A flexible and proactive approach suited to an ASAP start
