What would you do
AsanARspecialistyou willbe responsible forcustomer account maintenance and internal inventory particular youwill be working with our billing systems to handle our accounts receivable through our AR platform. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude a tireless work ethic an insatiable appetite forgrowthand a desire to help customers with their accounting needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary role in this position will beprovidingFinancial Administration and support to ourFinance Manager andController
Develop technical & operational knowledge of the entireOpti9finance department
Own end-to-end customer billing processes including recurring usage-based and contract billing non-recurring billing ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Process customer purchase orders and execute non-recurring billingin accordance withcontract terms
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries resolving escalations disputes and billing issues professionally and efficiently
Reviewing customer account statements/invoices and performing A/R sub-ledger account reconciliation
Lead accounts receivable management includingmonitoringaging following up on overdue balances and partnering with internal teams to drive collectionsbased on the AR policy
Prepare and present bi-weekly AR review materials for meetings with the FinanceManager Controller CFO and CEO including aging analysis risk assessment and action plans
Oversee application of cash credits write-offs and adjustments ensuringappropriate approvalsand documentation
Coordinate closely with Sales Customer Success and Operations to ensureaccuratecustomer onboarding billing changesrenewalsand suspension
Support month-end close activities related to AR and billing including reconciliations reporting and variance analysis
This is not a fully remote position; candidates must be willing to work on-site in our Omahaoffice at least 2days/week
What do you know
Technical Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of2year of experience in financial and accounting function
Experience with software such as Microsoft Office (word outlook PowerPoint)
Excellent with Excel (pivot table)
Proficiencywith SAGE ERP Accounting (Intacct 300) is a plus
Professional accounting accreditation is a plus
Working knowledge and understanding of billings cyclesARmanagementDeferredRevenueorderprocessingandreportsreconciliation
General Knowledge and Experience:
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
