Job Summary

We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health service as a Caseworker (Pharmacy Liason).

Are you resilient proactive and passionate about helping people in the local community make lasting changes We are seeking a dedicated and compassionateCaseworker to join our Entry into Service Team.

Here at Recovery Solutions our multi-disciplinary team provides vital support to individuals experiencing challenges relating to substance use. We are committed to empowering our service users through tailored interventions and compassionate care providing a pathway to recovery.

This is a caseworker role with a specialist focus onliaising with this role you will act as a key communication bridge between the service and community pharmacies ensuring that prescription and medication-related processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community pharmacies and other key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the service and pharmacy partners.
  • Manage prescription administration ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct screenings and assessments to identify client needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
  • Work proactively and flexibly to engage clients and meet service needs.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all processes and procedures.

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience working with vulnerable populationsideally those affected by substance use domestic abuse or homelessness.
  • Experience in or with pharmacy services in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially in multi-agency settings.
  • Confidence in working independently and managing a varied caseload.
  • A commitment to trauma-informed strength-based approaches.
  • Understanding of substance misuse treatment and recovery pathways.

Additional Requirements:

Due to the nature of this role:

  • Anenhanced DBS checkagainst both adults and children is required. We will facilitate this for the successful candidate.
  • Afull UK driving licenceis essential.
  • You must haveaccess to your own vehicle.
  • Business insurancemust be in place prior to starting the role (if not already held).
