About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an individual who is enthusiastic energetic and competent to work in a multi-disciplinary team providing efficient and effective support to the team in supporting the clients through their withdrawal.
Under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Manager the Enrolled Nurse will provide delivery of quality supportive care of clients in Depaul House in collaboration with other health professionals. You will support the client in withdrawal by considering their physical and psychological needs by reducing further risks.
Classifications for this position will range from IB66 - IB72 ($70028 - $77849 per annum pro rata)

About Depaul House
Depaul House is a 12 bed Community Residential Alcohol and Drug withdrawal unit providing a medicated detoxification for up to 10 days. Depaul House is part of St Vincents Department of Addiction Medicine.
The Department of Addiction Medicine at St. Vincents (which includes De Paul House withdrawal unit) is one of Australias leading centres for the medical treatment of drug or alcohol addiction. The work includes direct patient treatment research education/training and policy development. Our multidisciplinary team includes doctors nurses social workers and specialist counsellors and our treatment services encompass both acute withdrawal and long term management using state-of-the-art methods and facilities. We have a strong culture of education training and teaching from undergraduate students to senior clinicians across a wide range of professional disciplines.
