Job Summary
Overview
The Salvation Armys Athol Corps. is hiring a Kids Club Aide and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

Location: 107 Ridge Ave. Athol MA
Hours/week: 2-5 hours per week
Exemption: Non-exempt
Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
*starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications*
Help lead Kids Club; assist in the music & arts classes
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan develop and implement curriculum and programming that effectively address both individual and group needs.
- Monitor and maintain the facility to ensure cleanliness safety and proper functioning including minor repairs health and safety compliance inventory control and requests for supplies or equipment.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner including but not limited to attendance records nutritional reports lesson plans fire drill logs narratives and progress notes.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to encourage engagement participation and collaboration in support of each childs development.
- Assist with the serving of meals and ensure proper cleanup following dinner service.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned organized and secured at the end of each day.
- Ensure compliance with all State regulations pertaining to health education nutrition and professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements:
High School or GED Required
Work Experience:
1 years experience working with children
Other Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated organized and creative
- Good communication skills
- Experience in teaching Sunday School preferred
- Salvationist Preferred
