Job Summary
One of our valued clients in the precision manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Operator to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for machine setup tooling and ensuring high-quality production output.
Key Responsibilities
Set up CNC equipment to meet job and production requirements
Create setup parameters and processes for new jobs
Ensure tooling availability and proper material handling
Perform first article and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards
Operate CNC machines to meet production rates while maintaining accuracy
Manage and adjust CNC programs and offsets to meet part specifications
Utilize DNC software and maintain machine functionality
Perform general equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Follow safety and quality procedures and complete additional assigned duties
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent practical experience)
Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC setup procedures
Strong communication skills and ability to follow management direction
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Prior CNC setup or machining experience preferred
Schedule & Pay
Shift: 1st shift
Pay Range: $28.00$34.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Entry-level operators may start lower; advanced setup and machining experience can command higher pay
