Lead strategic oversight of the donor management system (Raisers Edge 7/NXT) to maximize fundraising effectiveness through advanced donor engagement strategies high-level correspondence and data-driven insights that support donor-centric decision-making and align with organizational fundraising and marketing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead data quality and analytics initiatives to support fundraising donor stewardship and operational strategy.
Manage and maintain Raisers Edge 7/NXT and Constant Contact ensuring data integrity system functionality and alignment with best practices.
Conduct list and query pulls for mailed and emailed appeals stewardship communications and targeted donor outreach.
Set-up and manage Raisers Edge dashboards and online donation forms to optimize donation tracking and reporting.
Manage the collection and submission of required documentation to enable WINGS to receive donations through employer-sponsored giving programs.
Develop maintain and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for database management and related processes.
Enter financial donations (online and checks) when the Receptionist/Development Assistant is out of the office.
Maintain accurate donor records through precise data entry gift processing and coding and routine data cleaning.
Analyze fundraising marketing and stewardship data to provide actionable insights KPIs and performance trends.
Generate and manage reports and dashboards to monitor revenue donor acquisition retention and projections.
Support donor prospecting segmentation and lifecycle analysis including campaign performance evaluation.
Partner with Development and Marketing teams to optimize appeals engagement strategies and communications.
Lead data governance efforts including staff training cross-department collaboration and adherence to standardized metrics.
Bachelors degree in a related field or Associate degree with relevant experience preferred.
One to three years of experience with donor CRMs or fundraising databases (e.g. Blackbaud Raisers Edge 7/NXT) required.
Experience in nonprofit fundraising with a working knowledge of fundraising terminology and processes (pledges appeal codes stewardship).
Proficient in Excel (pivot tables lookup functions) with experience extracting cleaning and producing donor reports.
Experience managing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to translate requests into clear accurate and visually compelling reports and data visualizations.
Strong communication documentation and organizational skills with the ability to explain data to non-technical audiences.
