About the Role
As a Travel Surgical Registered Nurse you will deliver high-quality perioperative and postoperative nursing care in regional and remote settings. Youll support patients through the surgical process manage postoperative recovery and collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams across diverse clinical environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative nursing care
- Monitor and manage postsurgical patients including pain management
- Perform wound care drains and postoperative assessments
- Administer medications IV therapy and blood products
- Recognise and escalate deteriorating patients using clinical pathways
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with NSW Health policies

What youll need
- Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1)
- Minimum 1 year recent Surgical or MedicalSurgical nursing experience
- Strong postoperative assessment and clinical decisionmaking skills
- Current working rights in Australia (urgent nonsponsorship role)
