About the Role
As a Travel Surgical Registered Nurse you will deliver highquality perioperative and postoperative nursing care across regional and rural hospitals. Youll support patients through pre and postsurgical phases optimise recovery and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in surgical and general wards.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative nursing care
- Monitor and manage postsurgical patients including pain management
- Perform wound care drains and postoperative assessments
- Administer medications IV therapy and blood products
- Recognise and escalate deteriorating patients using clinical pathways
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with NSW Health policies

What youll need
- Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1)
- Minimum 1year recent Surgical or MedicalSurgical nursing experience
- Strong postoperative assessment and clinical decisionmaking skills
- Current working rights in Australia (urgent nonsponsorship role)
