Job Summary

Registered Nurse Job Summary (List Format)

- Assess plan implement evaluate and supervise individual patient care using the nursing process.
- Accept responsibility for directing co-workers and delegating appropriate tasks in patient care.
- Provide quality patient- and family-centered care in accordance with FMC policies procedures and guidelines.
- Educate patients and families from admission through discharge.
- Accurately document all aspects of nursing care and the nursing process.
- Notify physicians of significant observations and patient status changes.
- Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
- Implement physician orders as prescribed.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available and report malfunctions as necessary.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills critical thinking and independent decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to foster a positive team-oriented culture.
- Maintain a safe clean and compliant work environment; report unsafe conditions as needed.
- Adhere to organizational values: empathy integrity stewardship agility and teamwork.
- Commit to ongoing learning and complete mandatory education and training.
- Physically able to exert medium work demands (lifting 20-50 lbs occasionally etc.).
- Work scheduled shift: 7PM to 7:30AM with possible specialty in Emergency Room Nursing.
- Maintain required certifications (e.g. valid Ohio RN license CPR/BLS ACLS PALS).
- Demonstrate commitment to quality improvement customer service and use of resources efficiently.
