The role

Our Data Analytics team is part of the wider Strategy and Insights function which is collectively responsible for providingtimelyinsights on the firms health andforthe development and delivery of G-Researchs strategy.

Data is at the heart of what we do and we see the ability to embed data-driven insight into the fabric of daily management as a core driver of competitive advantage for the firm.

As a leader within the team you will be at the forefront of facilitating data-driven decision making working closely with senior leadership to structure analyse and drive outcomes for complex and strategic problems.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Leading and delivering projects to improve business performance and decision making using a variety of analytical and modelling techniques
Supporting the smooth running and augmentation of business operations through the provision of insight on metrics that matter
Working with senior leadership to identify key hypotheses and assumptions quantifying and challenging throughout
Providing technical oversight and advice on modelling and simulation projects mentoring other members of the team
Supporting the evolution of analytical capability across the business by acting as the subject-matter expert contributing to training and maintaining knowledge resources.

Who are we looking for

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Demonstrable depth of experience of owning and delivering end-to-end analytics or modelling projects from data sourcing to insight delivery
Strong ability to dissect ambiguous problems identify key drivers and determine the most appropriate analytical techniques to apply
Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage C-Suite stakeholders
An analytical mindset high attention to detail and enthusiasm for innovation and continuous improvement
A good understanding of statistics and the ability to apply statistical methods to their modelling and analysis
Experience with SQL Python Tableau or similar is beneficial.
Experience line managing data analysts is beneficial
