About the Job

Are you passionate about environmental stewardship and ready to make a real impact across multiple sites Were looking for an Environmental Performance Business Partner to join our team and help drive environmental excellence across our operations.

Reporting directly to the Environmental Performance Manager youll act as a trusted advisor to facility leadersproviding both strategic insight and hands-on technical this role youll help ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate programs collaborate with government agencies and contribute to long-term environmental performance and sustainability goals.

This is an ideal opportunity for an environmental professional who enjoys variety collaboration and the chance to influence operations at a strategic level.

Salary: $75000$80000 based on experience and qualifications.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Partnering with facility teams to ensure compliance with corporate environmental policies permits and legislative requirements

  • Advising management on environmental risks obligations and best practices

  • Delivering and supporting environmental training programs (e.g. spills response permit-required training supervisor training)

  • Managing environmental monitoring programs and coordinating with internal teams and external consultants

  • Acting as a key liaison with government agencies on permits approvals inspections and reporting

  • Preparing and submitting environmental applications reports and regulatory documentation

  • Conducting Environmental Performance Reviews (audits) at facility locations

  • Supporting supervisors in developing and implementing corrective action plans following inspections

  • Assisting with environmental due diligence and onboarding for acquisitions

  • Monitoring emerging legislation and regulatory changes

  • Contributing to the development and execution of environmental and corporate strategic plans

Heres What You Need

  • College diploma or university degree in environmental science or a related field

  • Professional designation (C.E.T. or similar) is an asset

  • Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle (travel to sites required)

  • 3 years of experience in environmental compliance or environmental science

  • Experience managing long-term environmental monitoring programs (excess soils groundwater surface water)

  • Strong technical writing skills including drafting and reviewing environmental reports

  • Experience working with stakeholders such as government agencies consultants and the public

  • Experience with environmental permits and approvals (ECA PTTW) is an asset

  • Familiarity with Adaptive Management Plans (AMPs) audits or aggregates (pits and quarries) is an asset

  • Experience with compliance-based software (e.g. Dakota) is an asset

  • Relevant professional accreditations (OACETT PGO or equivalent) are desirable
