Job Summary
We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Tax Department as a Specialty Tax Intern within our Estate and Trust and Private Client Services teams. Our Estate and Trust team works with clients in administration of estates and trusts including analysis of related documents preparation and review of tax returns and fiduciary accounting. Our Private Client Services team provides centralized and integrated private family office tax estate and wealth advice that accommodate our clients lifestyle and simplifies the complexities of wealth.
As an Intern you will rotate between the Estate and Trust and Private Client Services teams with some potential exposure to general tax. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in high-demand areas of tax. You will be given the support you need to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that will enable you to achieve your goals. Responsibilities
- Various types of Fiduciary Income Tax returns
- Gift Tax returns
- Preparation of individual tax return for high-net-worth clients
- Tax planning and research
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Working towards a bachelors or masters degree in accounting and/or 150 credit hours
- Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
- Completion of intermediate accounting course(s)
- Completion of some Tax and/or Audit course(s) by time of internship
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- Exemplary communication and organizational skills
- Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
- Motivated to serve clients
- Desire to be a team player

This position is available in a hybrid capacity out of our Eden Prairie Minnesota office. Internships are paid full-time experiences which run January April. We recruit well in advance of this time frame to allow youflexibility and time to make arrangements for housing and required classes.

The wage for this position is $28.00 per hour. This salary range reflects anticipated responsibilities and qualifications of a successful candidate for this role. Final compensation may vary depending on an individuals experience knowledge and skills. You will receive an in-depth onboarding and training and supportive Boulay Buddy to help you acclimate to your role.
