Job Summary

An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a lateral associate attorney to join its Corporate M&A and Private Equity practice in Dallas.
This role is well-suited for an associate with experience advising on complex mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions who is looking to deepen their exposure within a fast-paced deal-driven corporate practice.
The Role
The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of M&A and private equity matters including buy-side and sell-side transactions platform investments add-on acquisitions and related corporate governance work. The practice offers significant responsibility direct client exposure and involvement in sophisticated transactions across industries.
Ideal Background
Prior experience in corporate M&A and/or private equity transactions
Experience with purchase agreements disclosure schedules and ancillary transaction documents
Strong drafting issue-spotting and project-management skills
Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy in a deal-driven environment
- JD from an accredited law school
Admitted in Texas or eligible to waive in
