Position Summary:
Assist with the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes quality and presentation standards focusing on attention to detail
Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items
Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food before use
Develop strong food safety and cleaning skills to ensure assigned kitchen section is properly maintained
Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment.
Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and assist the kitchen team in operational tasks and duties
Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations
