Job Summary
Purpose of Role
Join Dysons Group Finance team to strengthen and streamline our global financial close and statutory accounting. Youll support the Head of Technical Accounting & External Reporting to drive global compliance and deliver robust financial reporting. This role works closely with teams across Singapore the UK EMEA APAC and local finance leaders offering a chance to steer projects and influence finance processes in a fast-evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Group Accounting Operations
Lead the monthly statutory reporting cycle ensuring timely accurate close and issue resolution.
Review and analyse variances; liaise with Controllers and FP&A for follow-up.
Support Board and leadership with statutory results and disclosures.
Manage Group consolidation statutory close reconciliations and disclosures.
Oversee balance sheet reviews and resolve high-risk or aged balances.
Act as R2R subject matter expert; identify and resolve system-to-accounting data flow issues.
Review key system projects (SAP/S4 OneStream) for accounting accuracy.
Policy & Governance
Maintain and improve Group Statutory Accounting Policy ensuring IFRS compliance.
Oversee policy implementation and drive accounting consistency across entities.
Manage policy exceptions; escalate as needed.
Partner with Internal Controls on risk assessments and control testing.
Update and govern the Chart of Accounts; lead communication and training on policy changes.
Audit
Support Group statutory audit (completion by end-February minimal findings).
Coordinate local statutory audits globally (completion by 30 June).
Skills & Experience
Qualified accountant (CA CPA ACCA or equivalent) with 12 years experience.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/SFRS.
Deep experience in statutory close financial reporting and audit.
Financial controls and SOX experience preferred.
Skilled leader communicator and change-driver.
Organised proactive and detail-focused with a logical problem-solving mindset.
International group experience and familiarity with SAP S4 Hana and OneStream are desirable.
