Responsibilities
Functions in a leadership role as a unit-based clinical resource and educator. Responsible for staff development orientation and onboarding competency patient education and quality improvement. Supports established standards of care and practice through training staff development clinical improvement activities and patient/staff education. Serves as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
Qualifications
1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
4. Must hold Certified in American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
PREFERRED
1. BSN degree
2. Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty.
3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS PALS NRP etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
