Job Summary

Position: Scripting Developer Lead

Location: Cincinnati OH - Hybrid

Long Term Contract

Role Description

The Technical Lead drives technical design and delivery for point-of-sale (POS) terminal development leading scripting and application enhancements across Python and Java components to support reliable store operations.

This role partners with product hardware/terminal teams QA and operations to manage dependencies guide implementation and ensure release readiness and production stability.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience developing scripts and applications for POS terminals including troubleshooting device-specific behaviors and integrating with peripheral services.

Proficiency in Python and Java with experience building maintainable modules utilities and automation to support development and deployment.

Experience leading technical execution (design guidance code reviews mentoring and defect triage) and coordinating across multiple workstreams.

Solid understanding of integration patterns and operational concerns in retail environments (logging resiliency offline/online handling).
