We are seeking a Help Desk Intern to support our Information Technology team during the Summer of 2026. This internship provides handson experience as a first-level contact and problem resolution for all hardware software and application problems and requests.This position will be located at our Rutherford New Jersey home office.Responsibilities- Set up and configure laptops desktops mobile devices printers and other office equipment.
- Resolve user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases both in-house and remotely.
- Assist with the day-to-day roll out of hardware and software updates patches and configuration changes as directed by the IT department.
- Observe current abilities of end users and assist on the development of training guides for existing and new employees.
- Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and resolution for problems in the Support Ticketing database-act as a liaison between end users and IT staff to assure accurate problem interpretation.
- Support organizational goals and values.
Qualifications- Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related areas.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized detailfocused and ability to manage multiple tasks.
