Job Description

The North American Transfer Agency (NATA) and Leveraged Solutions team sits within the realm of Distribution Engineering (D2E2). Their vision is to deliver compelling and competitive technology solutions that excite our clients energize our employees and protect the firms business and client assets.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Complete all tasks related to building and unit testing quality assurance system test and implementation in accordance with the Technology development life cycle
• Build and test system components or amendments
• Always conform to documentation coding and quality standards as defined
• Review discuss and work within agreed timescales and feedback to project managers any variances arising as tasks are performed
• Prepare for and support user acceptance testing
• Perform quality assurance tests on the work of other developers
• Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems
• Communicate with internal and external customers supervisors and management using clear user-friendly terminology (emails phone meetings)
• Assist project and line managers in producing estimates for the development phase of projects and enhancements
• Third tier support escalation as required
• Participation in business recovery exercise as required

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a broad range of database development facets including some or most of the following:
• Development of stored procedures packages and transformations on SQL Server and PowerBi
• Stonebranch UAC enterprise scheduler experience are a plus
• Development of data transformations and validations for database import/export activities (SQL Server Information Services Python)
• Additional experience with Sterling Connect Direct Business Objects Embarcadero Studio platform knowledge are a plus
• Experience with full participation in software development methodology: Scope Requirements Design Development Testing Deployment
• Solid experience of working in project teams and with third party vendors
• Experience with Agile software development

• Financial Services domain experience a plus

The salary range for this position in Charlottetown is $70000 - $74000/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills experience and location
