The direct impact of this work resonates in the safety and overall welfare of both children and the general public. This position is situated in various locations throughout the Town and preference is given to candidates with access to a candidates must be able to work outside in various weather conditions and stand for long periods of of work for this position are initially offered on an as-needed basis with no minimum hours dutiesAssist students and pedestrians in crossing roads safely at designated school crossing locations in accordance with the Ontario Highway Traffic Act the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Town and document any problems e.g. weather conditions children and motorists to the Supervisor Crossing duties as School diploma or in traffic control or working with children is considered an observation communication and customer service candidates will be required to complete a background check including but not limited to a Vulnerable Sector Check in accordance with the duties of this range: $20.18 to $23.61 Band 2 on the Towns 2026 Pay candidates are invited to apply no later than 4 p.m. on February 12 2026.
