Job Summary


  • Perform GRP lamination works including hand lay-up wrapping and structural repairs.

  • Repair damaged GRP pipes joints tanks and linings as per approved repair procedures.

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning grinding and roughening prior to lamination.

  • Mix resins catalysts and hardeners in correct ratios as per manufacturer specifications.

  • Apply fiberglass mats woven roving and resins to achieve the required thickness and strength.

  • Ensure proper curing finishing and surface quality of laminated components.

  • Carry out thickness checks and visual inspections to meet quality requirements.

  • Follow approved Method Statements ITPs and HSE procedures at site.

  • Maintain proper housekeeping and safe handling of chemicals and materials.

  • Coordinate with supervisors QC inspectors and engineers during lamination activities.




Requirements

  • ITI / Trade Certificate in GRP / FRP / Composite works or relevant experience.

  • Minimum 35 years of experience as a GRP Laminator in oil & gas or industrial projects.

  • Hands-on experience with GRP resins fiberglass materials and repair techniques.

  • Knowledge of curing processes resin systems and safety practices.

  • Experience working in confined spaces and plant environments is an advantage.

  • Should have a valid QID
