Job Summary

  • Perform rigging activities in accordance with approved lifting plans and instructions from the Lifting Supervisor.

  • Inspect lifting gears such as slings shackles hooks and spreader bars before use.

  • Select appropriate rigging gear based on load weight shape and lifting method.

  • Assist crane operators during lifting operations and follow standard hand signals.

  • Ensure safe positioning and stability of loads during lifting and movement.

  • Secure loads properly and guide loads during lifting and lowering operations.

  • Maintain good housekeeping in lifting areas.

  • Follow PTW systems HSE rules and use required PPE at all times.

  • Stop work and report unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Support shutdowns heavy lifts and critical lifting activities as required.



  • Requirements

  • Valid Rigger Certification (Qatar Energy / TUV / Third Party Approved).

  • Minimum 25 years of experience as a Rigger in oil & gas or industrial projects.

  • Good knowledge of lifting equipment load limits and rigging practices.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with lifting teams and supervisors.

  • Physically fit and capable of working at heights and confined spaces.

  • Should have a valid QID
