Job Summary

Production Internship

Full time 3 month internship (with job placement post internship depending on performance)

One of the best places to start when working in the media industry is as a Production Assistant. A production assistant can have many different responsibilities which puts you in a great position to learn about all of the different departments. You have to be open to anything as a PA and you have to be willing to work hard. If you are a hard-working PA it is more than likely that someone will notice and it will be easier for you to get hired. The goal is to ensure production gets on smoothly and problem-free.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Helping prepare the set with lights props equipment etc.
Assisting wardrobe directors camera people and other crew members
Printing and distributing paperwork
Escort actors talent models around the area
Conduct crowd control by putting up signs directing pedestrians away from set lock down sets etc.
Act as a runner distributing messages or items within crew and cast
Perform administrative work
Undertake errands as assigned
Transporting equipment
Driving talent and crew
Preparing and packing items
Set out trash cans in strategic areas
Cleaning the set and emptying trash cans
Going on supply runs
Calling locations and vendors
Set out chairs and tables
Be the last person to sit down and eat

Requirements

Ability to communicate in English and Arabic
Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies
Flexible with working hours and days
