We are looking for a General Manager to build and run Kobi Futuresa premium 9-day in-residence tech & leadership accelerator camp for high-achieving teenagers from the US UK and Nigeria.
You wont just run a program; you will own the P&L. You will recruit the students manage the parents and execute a world-class operation in Lagos this summer.
If you can close a sale with a parent in Houston at 10:00 AM and negotiate a vendor contract in Lekki at 2:00 PM we want to talk to you.
THE ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a "Mini-CEO." You will wear two hats: Head of Growth (Sales) and Head of Operations (Execution).
Kobi Futures is a new category of education. We are moving beyond the traditional "cultural summer camp" to create a Leadership & Innovation Sprint. Our cohort comprises 50 select teenagers (Ages 1417) from the Global Diaspora (US Europe). For a premium fee we offer them site visits to African Unicorns masterclasses with industry leaders and a secure world-class residential experience in Lagos.
WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER
1. Growth & Sales
Own the Funnel: You are responsible for hitting our enrolment target. You will manage leads conduct Zoom info-sessions with parents and close deposits.
Parent Relations: Serve as the primary point of trust for high-net-worth families in the US and UK. You must communicate with confidence-inspiring polish.
Partnerships: Liaise with our Board Advisors and Youth Co-Founders to drive referrals.
2. Operations & Experience
Campus Partnership Selection: Secure partnership with a suitable host-school and negotiate a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for power etc.
The Sprint: Live on-site for the 9-day residential intensive. You are the "General" on the ground.
Zero-Failure Logistics: Manage all vendors (Security Power Catering Transport) to ensure 100% uptime. You anticipate problems before they happen.
Crisis Management: Handle medical logistical or behavioral issues with speed discretion and calm.
WHO YOU ARE
The "Code-Switcher": You have global exposure. You have lived worked or studied in the US/UK and understand the expectations of Diaspora parents but you also know how to get things done in Nigeria.
The Commercial Operator: You have a background in Project Management Tech Startups or Sales/Account Management. You are comfortable holding a revenue target.
Tech Savvy: You understand the tech ecosystem. You can talk to a guest speaker from a Fin-tech company without getting lost.
High Agency: You dont make excuses about "NEPA" or traffic. You have a Plan B and Plan C for everything.
5 years of experience in Operations Project Management or Business Development.
Experience in Education Hospitality or Event Management is a plus (but not required if you are a strong operator).
Base Retainer: Competitive monthly fee.
Growth Commission: Significant per-student commission for every enrolled applicant. High upside for high performers.
