This role focuses on digital case design using CAD software working directly with our Melbourne-based dentists and laboratory team. The successful candidate will design crowns bridges implant restorations and full-arch cases with physical fabrication (milling finishing) completed by our Australian team. This is a long-term position with significant growth potential for the right candidate including possible team leadership as we expand our offshore operations.

What Youll Do

Youll be the kind of person who:

Design crowns bridges veneers inlays/onlays and implant abutments using Exocad or 3Shape.
Execute digital design for full-arch implant rehabilitations (All-on-4 All-on-6 All-on-X).
Process intraoral scans and integrate with CBCT data for implant planning.
Collaborate directly with Australian dentists via video conference on case planning and design parameters.
Prepare manufacturing-ready files for milling and 3D printing.
Perform virtual articulation contact adjustment and occlusal refinement.
Maintain organised digital case files with clear version control.
Meet turnaround time targets while maintaining quality standards.
Participate in case review meetings and incorporate clinical feedback.
Document workflows and contribute to process improvement.

Requirements

What You Bring

Were looking for someone with:

Experience

Minimum 3 years dental CAD design experience; dental technician background preferred.

CAD Software

Proficient in Exocad (strongly preferred) or 3Shape Dental Designer.

Restoration Types

Demonstrated experience designing crowns bridges veneers screw-retained implant prosthetics.

Implant Design

Experience with custom abutments Ti-bases and full-arch frameworks.

File Formats

Familiar with STL DCM PLY exports and library management.

English

Intermediate to advanced conversational English able to discuss cases verbally with dentists and respond to written feedback.

Technology

Comfortable with video conferencing cloud file sharing and digital collaboration tools.

Desirable Requirements

Experience with digital smile design (DSD) and 2D-to-3D smile planning.
Full-arch implant design experience (surgical guides immediate-load protocols).
Knowledge of Exocad add-on modules (Smile Creator Implant Module Model Creator).
Experience with 3D printing preparation and nesting.
Previous remote work experience with international dental clients or laboratories.
Basic understanding of Australian/Western aesthetic preferences.
Photography/rendering skills for case presentation.
