Patient Demographics: Pediatrics Adolescents Adults and Geriatrics
Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 5060 cases per day
Case Mix: Orthopedics trauma general surgery spine neuro cath lab ambulatory and endoscopy
FACILITY INFORMATION
No. of Beds in Department: 317 hospital beds
Trauma Level: Adult Levels IIV
EMR System: Cerner and SaAnesthesia
Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia and monitoring equipment
Specialty Backup Available: Multispecialty surgical services
Support Staff Available: Anesthesia care team and OR staff
Reason for Coverage: Scheduled locum coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days
Training Required: Mandatory remote Cerner training (approximately 4 hours)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Overtime: Overtime applies only after scheduled shift completion; no weekly overtime
Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
General anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures
Anesthesia support for NORA locations including cath lab and endoscopy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Arizona CRNA license required prior to start
Board: NBCRNA certification required
Certifications: BLS ACLS and PALS required
Experience: Recent hospital-based anesthesia experience required
Other Qualifications: Ability to work variable shifts without requesting specific days or times
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties
Support main OR ambulatory surgery center and NORA locations
Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe patient care
Complete documentation accurately in Cerner and SaAnesthesia systems
Comply with all facility policies and credentialing requirements
