Performs material control functions including but not limited to receiving inspecting delivery material movement storing issuing packaging and shipping.

*Starting Wage: $19.85*

**1st Shift 7:00AM 4:30PM Marlborough MA. This is an onsiteposition.**

Whatyou willdo:

Receives material by unloading carriers verifying paperwork visually checking fordamageand performing data entry transactions into a computerized business system.

Inspects materialutilizingstandard test equipment handtoolsand other mechanical tools.

Performs solderability testing on incoming and obsolete stores material.

Unpacks material for storage or delivery to work centers and moves materials as directed.

Transports material within the facility. May occasionally transport between Massachusetts locations.

Counts and weighs measures sorts packages and labels material for inventory storage issue and release to manufacturing.

Performs basic electrical inspection ofpurchasedcomponents to written procedures.

Performs the induction step

Packages materials in compliance with SPI (special packaging instructions) or other documented procedures

Performs related data entry transactions for required task

Assistsin physical inventory as directed.

Assembles shipping containers andpackages productfor shipment according to contractual requirements.

Loads braces and secures outgoing shipments onto carriers.

Cleans services andmaintainsassigned tools equipmentmachineryand work areas.

Controls and releases tools and equipment to the work center calibrationlaband the respective tool cribs.

Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplacetoolsand equipment.

Maintains records movesmaterialsand follows safety rules in performance of duties.

Performs other similar duties asor directed.

Machines Tools and Equipment used includes but not limited to:Utilizeselectronic power and manual equipment for receiving inspecting storing kitting product movement packaging and shipping of materialtoolingand equipment.

Qualifications You Must Have:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year experience in handling moving and processing inventory.

Ability to obtainInterimSecretU.S. government issued security clearance isprior to start date.

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions including shift times are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
