Transport Planner Traffic Engineer

London or Guildford Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

We are now seeking a Transport Planner / Traffic Engineer to join our growing Transport & Mobility team.

As a Transport Planner / Traffic Engineer youll support the planning design and delivery of a wide range of transport and infrastructure projectsfrom active travel and public realm improvements to highway schemes rail interfaces and major mobility upgrades.

Youll play a key role in shaping sustainable transport solutions and will have opportunities to build strong client relationships and grow within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

• Prepare transport engineering designs drawings and technical documentation
• Collect analyse and interpret transport and traffic data
• Support feasibility studies assessments and earlystage design
• Contribute to the design and evaluation of engineering solutions
• Assist with monitoring construction and improvement works
• Undertake inspections under the guidance of senior engineers
• Support project delivery contract coordination and client engagement
• Apply continuous improvement and digital tools to enhance project outcomes
• Maintain awareness of current standards technology trends and regulations

• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering Transport Planning or related field
• 36 years of experience in transport or traffic engineering
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with industry design tools
• Confident communicator with stakeholder engagement experience
• Ability to navigate complex information and contribute to sound engineering decisions
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation and problem solving
• Experience supporting junior team members is advantageous
