Job Summary
This position will involve receiving inspecting and shipping goods as well as maintain inventory and records. They will be required to work inside and outside based on job demands.
Reports to:Inventory Manager
Main Duties:
- Receive goods:Unload goods from trucks verify quantity and quality and inspect for damage
- Prepare shipments:Pack goods create shipping documents and arrange for shipment
- Store goods:Unpack code and store goods in the appropriate area
- Maintain inventory:Record incoming and outgoing goods and ensure inventory is accurate
- Resolve issues:Identify and resolve discrepancies and escalate issues to the appropriate person
- Follow safety rules:Follow company safety rules and procedures and be aware of WHMIS and SDSs
Education/Skills Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Operate vehicles like tractors trailers forklifts HINO or other machinery designed to aid in the transport of heavy materials
- Telehandler certification to operate on a truck/tractor
- Forklift certification
- Experience in warehouse work
- Potential Start Date :Early March required to be onsite 5 days a week.
- Heavy Lifting Required.
Pay Range : The hourly base pay range will be $ 20- $ 21 DOE.
