What Youll Be Doing
CIBCs Capital Markets Payments business is an innovative vertical within the bank focused on delivering leading-edge solutions for corporate government and institutional clients. Our mission is to enable growth capital raising and investment across North America and key global financial centers positioning CIBC as the preferred Capital Markets banking partner.
The Director Product Management Global Transaction Banking will play a key role in the growth and development of our transaction banking products and services serving as an important point of contact for current and prospective clients. This role requires subject matter expertise in transaction banking including cash management payments and liquidity solutions for corporate and institutional clients. The Director will advocate for and ensure CIBC maintains a market-leading relevant offering working with cross-functional teams to build and implement differentiated solutions. Responsibilities include product management contributing to product development and educating both the market and the firm on transaction banking and the continued growth of our offerings.

How Youll Succeed
Revenue growth - Leverage product knowledge to drive product growth and associated revenue growth for client segments in global transaction banking including corporations institutions and public sector clients.
Product strategies - Develop and support comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps ensuring alignment of product capabilities with market demands and business requirements
Collaboration - Collaborate with technology teams and stakeholders to maximize platform capabilities drive implementation planning and facilitate client communication and training.
Documentation - Support requirement gathering detailed product analysis and quality of product documentation.
Offerings - Deliver market-competitive transaction banking offerings (e.g. cash management payments liquidity solutions).
Client partnerships - Manage client and product evolution to maintain and enhance economic viability and market the group with core clients and business partners.
Strategic opportunities - Monitor market trends including regulatory requirements and act on any strategic opportunities or risk trends affecting the business.
Resource allocation - Optimize resource allocations and maintain senior-level relations with vendors industry partners and stakeholders in Canada and internationally.
Process optimization - Liaise with various businesses within Capital Markets and across CIBC to optimize efficiencies (e.g. shared resources joint ventures) and align product and sales to meet business strategies
Who You Are
You have a degree/diploma in Business/Accounting degree and preferably a Product Management Certification with extensive knowledge of the financial services industry.

You can demonstrate 10 years progressive industry experience in transaction banking cash management payments or related capital markets experience are an asset.
