Job Summary
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst position! This is a 10 month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Develop and produce mid- to high-complexity departmental reports and spreadsheets including project/product strategy analysis historical reporting workflow analysis and financial analysis.
- Identify trends and emerging issues develop project plans organize events synthesize stakeholder input and communicate findings via white papers reports etc.
- Perform complex analysis and judgment across multiple disciplines to support business decisions.
- Analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights to management.
- Drive continuous process improvement and automation including documentation and custom tools.
- Contribute to planning and execution of new projects to meet business objectives.
- Take a lead role in audit support activities including compliance testing and user recertifications.
- Manage implementation of new systems products or regulatory changes.
- Act as a liaison with vendors and tech teams for system support and issue resolution.
- Adhere to compliance and operational risk policies and internal control standards.
What Youll Need to Have:
- 3 years of experience in a reporting or data analytics role.
- Experience with Alteryx for building automated workflows data blending and streamlining ETL processes across large datasets.
- Advanced SQL skills including writing complex queries joins and stored procedures to support in-depth data analysis and validation.
- Proficiency in Power BI with the ability to develop interactive dashboards data models and visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Strong data storytelling and visualization abilities translating analytical findings into actionable business insights for non-technical audiences.
- Working knowledge of data governance data quality and metadata management practices to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
Pay Range:$33-$44/hr
