Position Overview:We are currently seeking a Bilingual Psychologist to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing culturally and linguistically responsive psychological services to students supporting their academic achievement social-emotional development and mental health working onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations of students cognitive academic social emotional and behavioral functioning in both English and the target language (e.g. Spanish Mandarin etc.).
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to students families teachers and school staff in a clear and culturally sensitive manner.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social-emotional concerns behavioral challenges and mental health issues impacting learning and well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers administrators parents and community resources to develop and implement interventions and support plans to address students needs.
• Conduct crisis intervention and provide support to students and families in times of crisis or emergency situations collaborating with school staff and community resources as needed.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and presentations for students parents and school staff on topics such as stress management coping skills and cultural competence.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of psychological assessments counseling sessions consultation meetings and other relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology Counseling Psychology or related field from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Psychologist.
• Certification or proficiency in the target language (e.g. Spanish Mandarin etc.).
• Previous experience working as a psychologist in a school or educational setting preferably with bilingual and multicultural populations.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development mental health issues and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with students families and school staff from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Proficiency in assessment counseling crisis intervention and consultation.
• Experience in working with school systems (working onsite preferred).

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting):

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk and move around in various areas of the school facility. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with students staff and parents both verbally and in writing. The employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and may occasionally be required to bend stoop kneel or crouch. Additionally the employee must have the physical stamina to supervise and engage with students throughout the school day.
