Job Summary
Finance Business Partner (Corporate Finance Service)

To help achieve this they are recruiting for aFinance Business Partnerin theirCorporate FinanceDepartment.
The role will report toFinance responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with Service departments within the Council to ensure effective Monthly Budget Monitoring is carried budget challenge and escalation asappropriate.
- Provide financial support to the key transformation projects the Council is undertaking.
- Contribute towards the compilation monitoring and reporting of the Councils Medium Term Financial Planand Annual the setting of fees and charges.
- Contribute to the closure of the Councils accounts and preparation of the Statement of Accounts.
- Complete Key Reconciliations andclearance of suspense accounts and ensuring the Council meets all statutory and external reporting requirements.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively under pressure to deliver positive outcomes. This role will suit an individual who hasexperience of working in aLocal Government environmentincludingsubstantialknowledgeand understanding of budgeting and budgetary in utilisation offinancial managementsystems is desirableas is experience of MS Office suite products.
