KPI Solutions is seeking a DevOps Lead to drive innovation automation and operational excellence across our technology environment. We are seeking a DevOps Lead who will design implement and maintain the tools pipelines and infrastructure that support KPIs engineering and development functions. This role bridges stakeholders and development teams ensuring systems operate smoothly securely and aligned with business goals.

This position begins as a 6month contract with the opportunity to convert to fulltime employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement development tools CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy updates and fixes; provide Level 2 technical support.
• Automate development deployment and release processes.
• Conduct code reviews and analyze results to improve system performance and reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues; develop patches and updates.
• Develop integrations for internal backend systems.
• Create scripts and tools for system visualization and monitoring.
• Lead rootcause analysis for production issues and ensure longterm solutions.
• Maintain documentation troubleshooting procedures and operational best practices.
• Communicate project updates priorities and blockers to leadership.
• Lead and mentor DevOps engineers; set team priorities and career development plans.
• Delegate effectively and empower technical teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7 years experience as a DevOps Engineer DevOps Lead or similar software engineering role
• Strong skills with Git GitHub CI/CD practices cloud infrastructure and networking infrastructure as code (TerraForm/Bicep/CloudFormation) containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and automation
• Handson experience with Azure cloud services
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly
• Detailoriented with solid documentation habits
• Strong problemsolving abilities and collaborative work style
• Leadership experiencementoring guiding or empowering technical teams
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Preferred: Enterpriselevel development experience; background in civil engineering or customerexperience environments
