Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a Procurement Operations Analyst to join the Procurement team in Glovo Barcelona office on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
As a Global Procurement Operations Analyst youll play an important role in keeping our procurement operations running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a structured international setting no prior procurement experience is required. Well provide full training and hands-on guidance to help you succeed.
Youll join a small but growing team in Barcelona working closely with colleagues across Europe and beyond. If youre detail-oriented eager to learn and enjoy solving problems while following clear processes this role is a great entry point into the world of global operations.
- Transactional Processing: Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with company policies and service levels.
- Ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance with established guidelines.
- Customer Support & Problem Solving: Serve as a first point of contact for internal teams with procurement-related questions.
- Handle incoming requests via our help desk providing guidance or escalating issues when needed.
- Support incident and problem management helping to identify and prevent recurring issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest ideas to make day-to-day processes more efficient.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications :
- Strong communication skills in English (other languages are a plus!)
- Great attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
- A proactive attitude and curiosity to learn new tools and systems.
- A team player who enjoys supporting others and maintaining smooth operations.
- Bachelors degree in any field what matters most is your motivation to grow.
- Some familiarity with procurement tools (e.g. SAP Ariba) or customer service systems (e.g. Jira).
